This policy outlines the way we at Mothers Mylk Pty Ltd (ABN 46 666 719 553) trading as Mothers Clinic Australia (Mothers Clinic) collect, hold, use and disclose personal information when you visit or make a purchase from www.mothersclinic.com.au (Site).

Our store is hosted on both Shopify Inc. and Wix Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through their data storage, databases and the general application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

The personal information we collect is generally limited to:

  • name and contact details (including email and mobile number);

  • any communications we have.

However, we may also collect information about how you use our website, via third parties.

Information collected for cart abandonment tracking may include:

  • products added to the cart;

  • quantity of each product;

  • time spent on the website;

SMS Notifications

As part of our cart abandonment recovery efforts, we may use SMS notifications to send you personalised reminders or offers if you've left items in your cart without completing the purchase. In some circumstances where we have a legal basis to do so, we may continue to process your information after you have withdrawn consent, for example if it is necessary to comply with an independent legal obligation or if it is necessary to do so to protect our legitimate interest in keeping our services secure.

 

Security

All personal information stored on our website platform is treated as confidential. It is stored securely and is accessed by authorised personnel only. Our collection is limited in relation to what is necessary, for the purpose for which the personal information is processed and kept only for so long as is necessary for the purpose for which the personal information was collected. We implement and maintain appropriate technical, security and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised or unlawful processing and use, and against accidental loss, destruction, damage, theft or disclosure. We ensure the encryption and pseudonymisation of personal information and we have adequate cyber security measures in place. Payment

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then this gateway stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

“Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including secure credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

 

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

 

Changes
